Science Teacher Workshops
Our teachers’ workshop series is developed by renowned experienced teachers trainers including Dr Yap Kueh Chin and his team.
Associate Professor Yap Kueh Chin obtained his Ph.D. in Science Education from the University of Georgia, U.S.A. He has been involved in science teacher education since 1972. He has supervised numerous educational research projects at the B.Sc., M.Ed. and Ph.D. levels. He has also sat on numerous academic and curriculum boards at the university and national levels.
For his research excellence, he was the recipient of: the Outstanding Research Paper of Year 1984 from the National Association of Research in Science Teaching (NARST), U.S.A. and the JRST Award in 1986 for the most significant manuscript published in the Journal for Research in Science Teaching (JRST) for that year.
He is currently also a Physics Education consultant to publishers and science laboratory equipment supplier.
