In an increasingly complex world, students need thinking skills as life skills. I look at intelligence as the potential of the mind. This is equivalent to the horsepower of a car. There may be a powerful car which is driven badly and a humble car which is driven well. Thinking is the most fundamental and most important human skill. Our future depends upon our thinking both in terms of solving problems and in terms of making the best use of available knowledge and assets. How is it then that 'thinking' as such is almost totally neglected."
~ Edward De Bono
